Making a quick electronics lanyard
« on: February 20, 2012, 01:38:23 PM »
Need a lanyard for your camera, GPS, cell phone or other gadget?

I made this one using 550 cord, heat shrink tubing, small braided polyester cord and a whistle cord end.

All you need to do is make a loop with 550 cord and tie the smaller diameter cord around it, then slip some heat shrink tubing over the knot to secure and protect it.

I like it... heat shrink is a great way to clean up the attachment of the two lanyard strings!  Thanks for the tip! I am also a big fan of those whistles.

That's really neat looking and the shrink tube really sets it off!
