I phone .mov editing?
« on: August 07, 2017, 04:15:00 PM »
My I phone movie files show up as .JPEG and the windows 10 cyberlink powerdirector doesn't locate the files.

Do you guy's use a converter? A different downloadable free editor that can handle I phone .mov files?

Is there something in windows 10 that can convert them to avi or webm? I have several small video clips from a state park I'd like to patch together so I don't have to link 7 videos from youtube. I hate I phone.

Download the free program VLC from https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html. It will play .mov files on Windows 10.

I'm not sure what you two just said, but I think I got a little excited.

I can watch them with no problem on my computer. I can upload them to youtube. I'm trying to figure out how to make several 30 second clips into a single video.

Maybe I can use the youtube editor?

Check the following post to see how you can use the above program, VLC, to do video conversions.

Thank you. I have irfranveiw installed. I didn't want to add a bunch of programs on my computer, it looks like VLC is very capable. That will make editing much easier.

Much appreciated Yellowyak!
