knife sheath trim
« on: January 05, 2018, 06:45:15 PM »
I'm in the process at the moment of doing a snake skin sheath.
now 1, the skin in question is stamped leather as far as i can tell.
my question is .  is the trim that goes around the edge of the sheath
for looks or is it nessessary?

Not necessary, but makes it look a lot better.  For real skins it is pretty much needed in order to keep the skin in place.
