« on: June 24, 2015, 05:16:09 PM »
Went on a dayhike yesterday and snapped some pretty good shots
Had a swell time though it was all i could do to reach the top and back :P
This hike starts a series of peak bagging i do each year...the first one is always the most physically demanding...

The Trailhead and the Mountain
five miles or so from here to the top

The view on the way up

While approaching the top, this is the view at your back

on the rock scree above tree line looking down

Really wish we had some peaks like that around here. That is some seriously beautiful country.

Looks like a good hike. I look forward to more in the coming weeks. :)

That first photo with the peak in the background looks very intimidating.

It looks like a spectacular hike.

Nicer shots Woods.  You are in great shape to do that hike.  I would need someone to carry me.  :-[
