Linen thread storage bag
I had enough linen thread left over a project to make this storage bag.   I used two strands of the thread to bulk out the appearance (at 38 lb breaking strength that precaution was not necessary).
It is made to store onions or potatoes but I am using it right now to hold a collection of monkey fist knots

Wonderful bag, quite a variety of uses for it.  Nice work.

That IS a nice looking bag.....and durable, being made from hemp fibers.    It'd be a overbuilt for me, though......all my GOOD monkey-fist knots would fit in a Bull Durham sack. ;D

That's very cool. This reminded me of how I used to help my mother braid together pieces of fabric scraps, strips of old clothing etc., that she sewed together to make rugs. Wow, had not thought about that in a very long time. Thanks for sharing!

Hey, well done fellow knotter.
Great bag. The knots are very even.
What do you use the monkey fists for?
Dogs?

Thanks.  The gauge I use keeps the loops all the same size.  I use the fists as paper weights when I am not using them to show how the onion storage bags I make work.  Tony

Nice job. Uniformity of all knots is clean.
