Envy's Hunting Season 2017
« on: October 26, 2017, 03:52:36 PM »
Hey folks, I thought I'd start a thread on my hunts this year and will post updates as I have them.  It's been warm here so I've only got out one for night's sit so far for bow season. This was a couple weeks ago. We had a cold front hit and the timing worked out that Jack and I could go.  It was a great night and right at dusk we had two decent bucks come in but we got busted before they got in a shooting lane.  I'll have to thicken up our natural blind better so they can't make us out next time.  It was exciting though, got the old ticker going pretty good.  I love that feeling.  Here's a few pics

I'm really liking this Council Tool Velvicut Belt Hatchet.  It's a nice size for packing a long on a hunt.

Jack had fun but it'll be big sisters' turn next.  I don't think I can hide two kids under ten in the open  :-\

thanks for looking

That's awesome. Jack's smile is priceless in that pic. Imagine their smiles with a deer!

Love that Velvicut!
