Fishing with girls
« on: May 15, 2016, 09:19:55 PM »
I've been on more outings the past week or so than in the past year. Went fishing again on Saturday with my two daughters. We went to Norris Lake, a TVA impoundment about 30 minutes from home.

My older daughter caught the first one of the day on her first cast.

I caught the next one ... About 2 pounds.

My younger daughter missed a few but finally landed this one on a Zoom Dead Ringer.

We caught all 3 in the first hour, then it slowed down - a bite here and there but only one more in the the boat.

No trophy bass but one of the best days ever fishing with my girls.

Great fishing trip I would say.  Nice to get out with the kids isn't it?   :)

Yep, wsdstan, it sure is nice!

Thanks, wolfy!

I'm glad they still think it's fun to hang out with dad.

That's great!  Everybody looks like they had a good time.  Our local impoundment up there is Fontana Lake in NC.  Looking forward to exploring the fishing there again this year.

Glad you're getting out so much.

Awesome time out Sarge!  That looked like a great lake and a good little fishing boat to be out on.  Good times...

Looks like a great day out on the water!

I plan to take my daughter fishing several times this summer. It will be her last summer as an only child, and then she has a sister due in early August. :)

Congrats on the new addition to the family, PW. Heck, you'll have a boatload of kids before you know it.
