My first try. Happy with the progress so far, but my stick is cracking right down the middle! Should have let it dry first I guess

Finished it. Not bad for my first time ever. But plenty of room improvement before I get to godchasers level!

Thanks so much for posting this tutorial.  I was able to follow it and was mostly successful with duplicating what you did using a box knife!  I have ordered a couple of flexcut carving knives and am anxious to see how it goes using them.
