The Holidays
« on: December 31, 2022, 06:20:06 AM »

Well, All Saints Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are behind us for this year and here's hoping you all had a great Holiday Season (in spite of the hard work of this country's and the rest of the worlds for that matter evil radical forces amassed against us), today we find ourselves again on the threshold of a New Year with renewed hope for a much better future for us and the rock we reside upon (ever the Optimist).
Now some may roll their eyes and others may recoil in horror at what I'm about to say next, but screw it, I'm going to say it anyway, today is New Years eve, the heralding of a new beginning even if only in our collective minds, so those of you who still believe in this country, it values, and it's promise, and who believe in God before you close your eyes this evening join me in a prayer that we and the rest of the world be delivered from our enemies whoever and where ever they may be.

God bless, Have a great new year, from our family to yours.

It's weird how the world is in full-on "holiday mode" for almost two months, then the day after it's just done.

It's weird how the world is in full-on "holiday mode" for almost two months, then the day after it's just done.

Not for all of us, our Holiday decorations and lights are still up and being enjoyed, usually we leave them up until mid March, then we put them away until next season and the wife puts up pictures and such displaying spring colors and greening up.
Celebration is not dependent on dates and seasons, it's in the mind and values that make one happy and being well.
