my 1st knife comission
« on: October 08, 2017, 07:11:26 PM »
yeah, anyhow a guy dropping wood off at my place.
i showed him the shop and my knives and he saw one he really liked
but wanted a different blade finish, so he asks me could i make him one just
like that but with a dull mirror finish.  i said sure.
so he asked how much, i said 150'00, even though he sucked in air
he still said he wanted it. so i let him pick out the scales and blade and handle shape.
basiclly a bushcraft knife . he wants it as a letter opener. so anyhow i told him 2weeks
to finish he said ok. woohoo. the scales will be the local ash i got. blade 1095.
and he wants a ash base with deer antler to rest the blade on as well.
well time to get to work.
