Nice design on that knife.  It would be a good upland/fishing knife but also good for dressing deer I would think.

Do you have to do heat treating on a saw blade? I know it's already a hardened steel. I'm guessing just keep it slow and cool while shaping right?

I do heat treat them.  I harden and anneal them the same as 1095.
