My only custom complete is a user... it's a Sugar Creek Knifeworks Woodie. 1/8" O1, walnut dymondwood handle and stainless hardware. Mike does good work.

It came with a JRE leather sheath. I added a JRE dangler and went at it with neetsfoot oil. I also made a matching firesteel:

I also have a really great bushcraft blade from a talented bladesmith in Florida that I handled in stabilized green dyed elm. It's so damn pretty I cannot bring myself to use it. Maybe you've seen it?

Oh, it is capable of being used for sure. I used it once or twice and it worked great...even after use it's still the sharpest knife I own! It's just so damned pretty I'd hate to scratch it up or lose it.

I've got a Woodlore Built up by a Certain Florida Bladesmith with some Box Elder Burl Scales and Stainless Bolts, complete with a Kick Butt Sheath of the same Manufacture..... !!! But She's a User, Got to 'cause that is what she was Crafted for!

PS: I'm working on getting one of each, of his work's of art, the trick is to NOT have my testes Tacked to the Fridge in the Process!!! :

Those are beauties for sure! I love the look of antler handles. I just haven't gotten around to trying them yet. All in good time. I think the middle one is my favorite.

When I was young, my Dad sold Snap-on Tools. In addition to that, he sold some knives: Schrade Old Timers and Bucks etc. I had a new Old Timer whenever I wanted one or lost one and, honestly, didn't know the quality of them at the time. I don't have any now and would love to get my hands on one again. Better yet, it would be nice to get one of the ones that my Dad gave me and I lost.
