Just made this one and it's about as tactical as I can get. I like the older style but this one is growing on me. 9 inches long with a 4 inch blade. Stabilized Amboyna and blaze orange G-10 spacers with a thin black liner.

thanks, this one was going to have mammoth ivory on it but I changed to the box elder at the last minute. This is a slightly larger knife than my others. Really beefy .210 at the spine

with all the time and materials that go into them, sorry to say they ain't cheap. But they are affordable.  I guarantee each one whether you're prying the lid off a tank or your wife runs it through the dishwasher. Check out my FaceBook page or the website or even just call me to shoot the bull! I got nothing to do all day lol

This one is box elder. The blade has a cool little hamon line going through it

woah! i just flipped through the whole thread, absolutely awesome man! I was wondering if you might be persuaded to do a tutorial on your file tempering process, I just had a failure about a week ago and have been feeling pretty discouraged. I really want to get back at it.

I just normalize 3 times and ramp to 1550 degrees hold for a few minutes then oil quench. Tempering is 400 for 2 hours

How about this elk antler?

thanks, It takes me a lot of time to make this type of knife. What seems to take the most time is picking the right handles that go with the blades. I have to sit and think about it for a while
