That is a nice looking knife!  I like your take on the Nessmuk a lot.  That looks like a really good user.  Good wood choices too.

I like the "offset" angle on the handle being just off the line of the blade.  Your blade design (shape) is great.

I like 'em a lot, too!    I hate most of the knives that people build and call 'Nessmuks' because they enlarge the hump on the back so much that they end up looking like ping pong paddles.  I would be proud to own either one of those handsome and very practical interpretations!

Very nice knives!  They remind me more of a semi skinner than a Nessmuk, but no matter.  I really like everything about those---the grind, the scales, the steel.  Excellent work.

Thanks guys... :)

It has a bit of a few designs in there.... Canadian belt knife, Green river, Nessie...semi skinner.... different folks see different things. I just tried to make a modernised version of a nessie that will be more useful to most people than a true to the original would.

Glad you like them :)

I like the idea of incorporating several tried and true designs into one.
They turned out very nice!

that knife has a lot going for it.  The RWL-34 is a superb steel for a bushcraft knife.  I was messing with my Crocodile knife the other day, made with that steel, and remarking to myself how well it performs.
The design tweeks, the slightly offset blade/handle angle, and the handle itself, show your careful attention to detail.  That knife will be a great one to take camping.

Thanks Sam. :)

I do like RWL-34. As you say, its a great all round steel. Not the cheapest stuff, but worth it.
