Shortest hike of my life! Loved it!
« on: November 21, 2016, 06:51:59 AM »
Well I'm starting to be done with the big projects at the new house so I finally had some time to grab the hammocks and try out the new backwoods properly.  Kids have been begging to toast this off right with hot chocolate.  So we did just that.  This will be nice getting a woods break any time I want!

my view!

the walk wasn't too bad at all...

thanks for looking!

That's awesome, OE! I loved playing in the woods while growing up. I bet your kids will too.

Thank you Zam and Stan.  I appreciate it.  And Stan Jack is told he's cute too many times by his momma and grandma's.  He'll walk up to pretty ladies in public and ask them if they want to feel his muscles.  and then he fist up flexes both arms.  LMAO!!   I just about die every time...he thinks he's doing them a favor and making their day or something...too funny.

If that is a creek back there dried up, it looks aggressive. Strainers and washouts. Teach the kids to stay clear when it's ripping...

Wow. I'm getting old. I'd be the one playing in it back in the day.
