Granite Slabs
« on: January 17, 2014, 09:57:40 AM »
Hey guys, I know a lot of you are into leather work now. Tandy sells those quarts slabs for like $50. I have some into some pieces that will fit in flat rate boxes from the post office. They will be all different colors and sizes, but they all are just fine for stamping leather and setting snaps and such.

I will be selling them for $20 a piece shipped, limit 2 per box shipped. I will post some pics later on of them. If you are interested, please post in this thread

I will be picking these up this week. No real preference on size or color will be available, I will post pictures of what I get :)

Sorry guys, I pulled the trigger on this thread a little prematurely. I got confirmation yesterday. I will have all of the blocks next week, he finally has enough worthy pieces that I can have. I will update with some pics as soon as they are in hand.

Tony, YY, I will bring yours to Kicco.

Ok, so it only took a year, but I finally got those slabs. There are 12 total, but I have to check the size on a few of them, they may be too long for a flat rate box. Pics coming later.

My 170# anvil seems to work fine for setting rivets and snaps. I don't tool any leather so............
I guess he'd rather be in Colorado.

Guess you won't be needing one then.
