Knives of NCIS
« on: December 06, 2017, 08:25:19 AM »
I do not own any of these, so can't endorse them.....and Yeah, it is a TV show
Just thought it was interesting.

I have been looking at the damascus blades on a few folders...Brought to mind the knife carried and used by LeRoy Jethro Gibbs is several episodes.

The series  has been around a while and is still popular...have give our culture some nuggets of wisdom.
One being "Gibb's Rules".....(a subject in itself)....my favorite being "Rule #9".....Never go anywhere without a knife.

Gibbs knife :Strider/ Onion Folder ZT301...which is discontinued.....re placed by the  Zero Tolerance 0303 Strider / Onion Folder

Geezer Squad, Evoking the 50 year old rule..First 50 years, worried about the small stuff, second 50 years....Not so much

I'm always amazed when people can identify knives and firearms in movies.
I guess I shouldn't be though as I used to be able to normally identify each of MacGyver's SAKs when I was a kid.
I think most of us subscribe to rule #9. Only place I don't is airplanes and courthouses and I'm comfortable in neither.
