Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.  We woke up this morning and are thankful for that.   O:-)

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving!  We were invited to a traditional meal with friends of ours since Heather & I are now considered 'elderly.'

The real unexpected surprise for me was seeing a knife & sheath that I made back in 1980 for the father of a 30 year-old 'kid' that was also in attendance.  He put a small mark on the back of the saddle-stitched sheath for each of the 20 deer that HE has field dressed with it.....no telling how many his daddy, who passed from cancer, dressed-out before that.

He kept praising the knife/sheath combination to the point of embarrassment, but I couldn't stop him, no matter how hard I tried. :coffee:

We're spread out and it's hard to coordinate getting together but we manage it somehow for thanksgivings regardless. This year was great and the week went by too quickly but we all had a great time.

Hoping others did as well
