Time for a spoon gouge

<< < (2/2)

Pete you might try the Mora 164.  I only have one and it works okay after I worked the edge over a bit, well quite a bit.

There are a lot of spoon knives out there and some interesting customs.  Do a search about sharpening a Mora spoon knife and you should get some idea of what people do to them to get them working well.

I've discovered that those Ken Onion WorkSharp machines work GREAT for re-forming & honing those spoon-carving scorps, gouges.........or whatever you call 'em.

Thanks all for the recommendations and apologies for the incorrect link lol. Was searching for beer for my dad. I'll take a look at the ones that you all have suggested.
