Desert Ironwood-lore high polish, very nice!
PetrifiedWood:
This has to be one of the prettiest knives I've made to date.
It's a classic woodlore, with file work and a highly polished blade.
Specs are:
Desert Ironwood scales (book matched)
Black vulcanized liners
Brass/Stainless Loveless bolts
5/16" brass lanyard tube
5/32" thick O1 tool steel
This is for sale, but I won't be pricing it until I get a sheath made. (Going to try to do something special for the sheath.)
Anyhow, here are a few preliminary pics. There will be more when the sheath is finished.
Thanks for looking!
Tobit:

PetrifiedWood:
Lol, thanks guys!
I hope whoever winds up with it likes it. I haven't done "fancy" scales in a while, and there were some of the nicest ironwood ones I have right now.
I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to do the sheath. I've got a few ideas but nothing really stands out yet...
I haven't done any leather in a while since my last three sheaths were kydex. But this one begs for a fancier than normal sheath. I think it might be time to try the rabbit fur inlay I've been thinking about.
