« on: December 16, 2017, 05:52:18 PM »
well i looked into a eletric klin and the cheapest one
well the cost was too much,  so i've decided to build a propane
kiln or furnace if you will. will post a photo asap. of my progress.
i've already done some work on it today.

Looking good!

I got some ideas for mine from zoellerforge.com - burners, instructions, parts lists, etc.

thanks sarge ill look that up.
and thanks greg, so much.
the forge in the photo is only part of it.
i found i have to make it longer so i'll need to buy 4 more boxes of bricks.
and i still have to cover the whole thing in the fireplace cement,
my tank will be a 20#lb tank.  the knife blank in the photo is 01-tool steel
in a bushcraft style the holes in the handle are to lighten it up abit
cause its 3/16's,
