Large deadfall "tip"

I made traditional figure 4 deadfalls when I was a kid.  Yours look a bit different.  Good video.

Reminds me a lot of the Paiute deadfall trap, but a bit simpler to set up. They aren't legal here in Nebraska, but I did manage to severely maim a mouse in our garage with one a few years ago.  :lol:  Figure 4s were never very easy for me to get to work right and a LOT more complicated to build. >:(

The trap is a paiute deadfall, the main difference is with a big heavy rock,it's nice to have a longer top stick for setting. The extra weight can be a pia. Nothing revolutionary just an way of making the setting eaiser.

I like this version because you can make it and set it without any tools
