Cryo treat your creations?

Have any of you makers sent your blades off for cryo treatment? There are a few places that do and it isn't too expensive. They do gun barrels as well.

I haven't.

Evenheat kilns' heat treating data page suggests cryo treatment can be done at home using dry ice and ammonia. But they don't mention using it with the steel I use (O1). If I start using 440C I might give it a whirl.

I prefer to do everything in-house rather than send it off. That way I learn more, and I can claim sole authorship on my knives (for those who find that important).
