British Steel

No, not the Judas Priest album. I mean real British steel...from Sheffield. At least I think it is.

A friend found it at a recent gun show and I ended up with it. It is O1 bar stock still in this paper wrap with imperial dimensions - 18" x 1 1/2" x 1/4".

I've read a bit lately about the Sheffield guilds and the knives (and knifemakers) sent to the colonial states so I'm pleased with this find.  :)

That is a great find.
