Sometimes you might want to test out some feature of the BB code, or see how a font looks, etc. Maybe you have never posted pictures or video before and want to try it to make sure it looks right before posting. There are plenty of reasons you might want to make a post that doesn't clutter up the regular forum sections. Well, this is the place! Feel free to start a new thread, or just add to this one.

From time to time we might choose to delete posts in this section just to save space, since these are just test posts it shouldn't bother anyone.

The Cursed Blade of Doom is finally finished...Again!
Seems like bad luck follows this knife. I first got it from Samthedog at last years Scandinavian meet.
It was a nice little knife (Little did I know....)
It didn't have a sheath, so I decided to make one for it:
Then This happened (dog ate my homework):
It's taken me some time to get around to it, but I finally managed to put a new handle on it, and make a new sheath.
Now, on the day I finished the knife, my wife's grandma died. So I had to wait with the sheath until yesterday morning.
After finishing wetforming the sheath I had to let it dry out, so I drove to the store for some groceries. On my way home, I ran into a neighbor of mine...Literally! My car's a wreck (his didn't get a dent), which is no fun when you a)live 10km from anywhere and b) are broke.

At the moment I'm wondering if these are just coincidences, or if I should just send the knife to someone I don't like!

As for the knife, I think it turned out ok. It's going to be (one of) my main knives.

In your editor, there is a "sup" button for superscript just to the right of the moving text button. This gives you superscript. Just drop a lowercase "o" between the tags and you'll get a degree symbol in a roundabout way.

Type you message, including the degrees number. Then immediately following the number click on the little button below the "Font Face" window that says "sup". Then type a lowercase "o", and then click the "sup" button again. It will come out looking like 32^o. The "sup" stands for "superscript".

I know theres a set of numbers to push that will bring out the degrees symbol too..but have long forgotten them.

But we do want to keep the forum streamlined. I'll set the section up and if it gets a lot of use we'll keep it. If it's cobwebs and tumbleweeds after a few weeks we'll fold the threads back into the general discussion or country living sections.

That one is horrible for this dial-up computer. Picture comes in on sections, and had to come in 22 times before the picture was fully in.. and then it comes across the screen in sections. By the time the top section got all the way across in the whole picture disapears. :S

Just thought I'd give a report from dial-up veiwers.
