Title: a knife making machine
Post by: Pete Bog on March 08, 2022, 03:42:44 AM
Wandering about the Tractor Supply Company store yesterday, a magazine cover caught my eye.

In big bold letters it proclaimed "A Knife Making Machine". Doing a little newstand browsing, I found the article and it looked to be a pretty straightforward project from "Machinist's Workshop" magazine.

Machinist's Workshop magazine, if you've never picked up a copy. is geared toward an interested home or farm workshop. A little cutting, welding and fabrication skills will get a lot of their projects completed. This knife making machine could probably be done in a weekend once all the parts were acquired.

There is also an article in there on making your own reloading kit. However, that requires a lath and a bit more advanced skills.
If your out and about at TSC, the Machinist's Workshop magazine is worth a look.
