Finished Today
« on: September 10, 2021, 12:08:22 PM »
Here's one that I finished up today.  Steel is either L6 or 1095 (my guess is L6) from an old, rusty sawmill blade.

Nice workmanship Dave, and I really like that handle, both the material and the shape.

Great looking blade Dave.

I am really impressed with the staining / design pattern you have going on the sheath. You have taken that sheath to another level.

Nice work Crash!  I love the rustic look of the old metals being repurposed.  Well done!

Depends.  If they have carbide tips they are most likely 1095.  Without the tips, the older ones are probably L6 ---- at least that's the way I was taught.
