Nice photos, especially like the Sandhills and the time of day you shot the water pictures.

We get a lot of Sandhills migrating North in this area but nothing like down around North Platte Nebraska.  Love the sound they make in flight.

Well, All Saints Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are behind us for this year and here's hoping you all had a great Holiday Season (in spite of the hard work of this country's and the rest of the worlds for that matter evil radical forces amassed against us), today we find ourselves again on the threshold of a New Year with renewed hope for a much better future for us and the rock we reside upon (ever the Optimist).
Now some may roll their eyes and others may recoil in horror at what I'm about to say next, but screw it, I'm going to say it anyway, today is New Years eve, the heralding of a new beginning even if only in our collective minds, so those of you who still believe in this country, it values, and it's promise, and who believe in God before you close your eyes this evening join me in a prayer that we and the rest of the world be delivered from our enemies whoever and where ever they may be.

God bless, Have a great new year, from our family to yours.

Great shots, Crash!  I liked to see the sandhill cranes getting ready for their annual migration to Nebraska.  Their mating dance & shrieking is something to behold!

I hope it's a good one for you all!  And all you folks in the "lake effect" area, be safe!

Right back at all of you guys and gals (we've had a few), I'm wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, and hopefully a much better coming New Year.
It's been a long stretch of bad news and worse days for us in the good old USA and in most places around the globe as well politically, economically, socially, and medically for the last few years, most of us were able to hold the line and if need be we can do it again.
As far as looking under the Christmas tree for what we want, the wife and I have gotten past the commercial part of the holidays and mostly celebrate what we have been blessed with most of our lives, this life that the good Lord has blessed us with, a great family, good friends, a warm home, and plenty of good food, what more can a person ask for.

Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to all of you from all of us.     :choptree:   :fire2:

Merry Christmas from the land of no Internet but lots of snow and wind.  Hope you all get what you deserve under your tree tomorrow morning.
