Ok, I finally got around to configuring the calendar and events features.
You should now see a calendar button or tab (depending on the theme you use) at the top of every page in the row beginning with the "Home" button. This will allow you to view the calendar. If you entered an age and birthday in your profile, it will appear there. You can remove this by removing them from your profile settings if you are shy about it.
This new functionality will allow us to post upcoming event threads, like campouts and other gatherings, and link the posts to the calendar on the date(s) they are to occur. Also, events will be displayed in a banner toward the bottom of the main forum index page.
