Have to say up front I don't have or watch tv. Been that way for a very long time. Movies, however, are another matter. Watch all kinds and generally enjoy them for what they are. In the past I've worked on some shows as a medic and found the movie making process "interesting".
This year i watched 2 satirical tales that were not generally well received- at least so far. The first was The Hunt and just a few days ago Don't Look Up. Both were heavy on message and as good satire often does had something to offend everyone. Maybe that's why reviewers panned them and focused on avoiding the issues raised. Don't know.
Neither was Jeremiah Johnson nor Lonesome Dove level of engaging nor as subtle in making their points but still entertaining.
Just wondering if anyone else saw either or both?
