One of the Bushcraft/Outdoor skill areas that I have become more serious about since last year is Wild Edible & Herbal Remedies. I was always interested in the topic and wanted to learn more. I collect books and read as much as I can on everything so here are the best books I have found on these topics so I thought I'd share what I like. What are your favorite books or media on these topics? Anyone else read these?
For Wild Edibles these three books are the best I have read.
#1) Edible Wild Plants: Wild Foods From Dirt To Plate (The Wild Food Adventure Series, Book 1) by John Kallas
This is his first book out and I can't wait for more.

2) The Forager's Harvest: A Guide to Identifying, Harvesting, and Preparing Edible Wild Plants by Samuel Thayer

*He has a DVD that supplements this book but I have not bought it yet but will soon. Has anyone seen it?

#3) Nature's Garden: A Guide to Identifying, Harvesting, and Preparing Edible Wild Plants by Samuel Thayer

For Herbal Medicine this is the best all around book I have found. This author has several other books but I do not have them yet as I think this one will cover as much as I need.
The Book of Herbal Wisdom: Using Plants as Medicines
