New toys part gift part trade
« on: February 19, 2012, 04:30:57 PM »
Hey got this stuff today the bag and book were won on  another site.  The compass and ferro rod combo that is part of a trade I got going for a couple spoons and kuksa I need to make for him and the antler is from Mr. Tettnanger  thanks again for the trade Buddy the stuff in the bag was  just to get an idea how much it will hold pretty big actually. It's a Chinese medic bag that converts into a small backpack doubtful that I will use at that better as a shoulder bag

Nice haul. :)

I must also thank Mr. Tet! I just got some antler slices as well! I would have thanked him elsewhere but, I don't think I can anymore... lol.

Neat little bag. I've been looking at canvas "mussette" bags for rock collecting that are about that size. Seems like a handy size for carrying a few items. Maybe a canteen and some lunch for a short hike.

Yeah it  would be  about perfect  for that  might even mod it at one point  with a couple of bottom straps  for a tarp. The  backpack  part of it though as said pretty much sucks

Thats just the size of bag I've been looking for.     Tear it all apart for me Easy.. I need a pattern.  *grin*

Is there two large pockets inside there?

WW.
On particularly rough days when I'm sure I can't possibly endure, I like to remind myself that my track record for getting through bad days so far is 100% and that's pretty good.

LMAO yep there are a couple of  pockets inside though need to get some fishing line to  sew them to the bag on the bottom. I can  get you  some  better pictures of it tomorrow and get some  measurements of it to if ya  like :)

Good stuff there, EasyRider!  Those bags are cool.  I got an eight-pack from SG when they had them.  They make a good group first aid kit bag.
Is there such a thing as too many knives?

Yeah  surprisingly  nice little bag that's not so little. Nice part I just  tried the loop  for making it a backpack just happens to be the perfect size  to hole the handle off my trailhawk  will store the handle in the  bag for day hikes now
