Stainless izula?

Why bother?

If you're worried about corrosion just leave it coated.

Not stainless. It's carbon steel like the rest of them, it just has a tan coating instead of black or green. ;)

Here be a few more:

L-R:  Ek limited edition from '93 that I picked up at a gun show a couple of years ago.  I got it for less than $70 - brand spankin' new, in box!  Next is my old Ka-bar I've had for over 20 years.  Third is Buck 119 I bought from a guy in the army back in '93 or '94.  It was barely used and I got it for half what they were going for at the PX.

L-R:  My first custom I ever bought: Chris Reeve old school one-piece knife.  I don't recall the model, but I know that I bought it from the man himself at my first knife show.  Cool guy.  Next is the SOG Government.  Nice knife there.  I used it in the field all the time back in the day.  Third is the Jeff White/Robert Jones Rancher knife.  This is a really nice knife.  It cuts and splits and begs for more.  And it stays nice and sharp.

Man I love that Chris Reeve knife and oddly the 119 as well. Never got around to owning either since they are made in far off exotic America. Still, have some foreign blades..

Group shot of a couple of knives I really like. This was when the Hoodlum was brand new. Not so pretty no more.
The CS Gurka I've always liked for a camp knife. Had it tucked in the 3 day pack back in the day for camp work and whatnot. The Russian "Taiga" is very practical and is, despite the saw, a good camp blade. Obvious Mora for size reference.

Yurtdweller - The knife is a Joker No 74 , here is a link (in the uk im afraid) http://www.thebushcraftstore.co.uk/joker-olive-wood-handled-carbon-steel-penknife-3802-p.asp

Its UK legal as it has under a 3" blade and its a slip join so great for me :)

The Joker also caught my eye.

Is it a slip joint or a friction folder?
