Bushcraft videos
« on: January 09, 2014, 04:03:33 PM »

I just posted in the Dave Canterbury thread,  and while we are on the subject of good easy to watch bushcraft videos I like to suggest that for those who have never watched his videos that you google a search for Bushcraft Bartons U-Tube videos.
Mike is a Canadian Bushcrafter who lives in Quebec and gets a lot of dirt time with his lovely wife Josey,  Mike doesn't claim to be an expert and he doesn't come across like one,  he doesn't run any schools or have an online store,  matter of fact he doesn't try to get you to dip into your wallet for anything.   8)
What Mike does have is a down to earth manner about him and and a great skills set that he doesn't mind sharing with others,  his vids are well worth taking a look at.
In youth we learn,   with age we understand.

I reay enjoy Mike's videos. My mom is from Quebec, so I have a connection.

What I enjoy most is his delivery. He is humble and has the heart of a teacher. He puts off a good vibe and I dig it!

He's one if my favourites too.

But you know, I am really growing weary of YouTube videos these days. So many guys are out to make money and it's become, like, internet tv...  :-\

Mike is, IMHO, the most humblest of guys, and he reminds me a lot of the guys I grew up with.

You could have added this to my thread. I am a subscriber to him. I haven't seen any new vids on the suggestions page in ages. I'll Revisit him. There are a lot of good guy's on there.

I do not have TV. I use youtube for everything pretty much. I'm into rockabilly and rat rods, Jeeps, Guitar lessons, Airbrush skills, Rock bouncing(insanity), and Ellen degenerous.

Yep good teacher and dose a lot of dirt time. Been subscribed for a while. I was thinking about doing the YouTube thing, not for money just an excuse to get out and have some fun. Anyone else have some good YouTubers?
