"PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- William "Wild Bill" Guarnere (gahr-NAYR), one of the World War II veterans whose exploits were dramatized in the TV miniseries "Band of Brothers," has died at the age of 90."

Not many of them left.  Winters died in 2011.  There are 18 left and the youngest is 88.  What a great bunch they are.  Truly the greatest generation.

I know of only two left around here.....and I think they truly were 'the greatest generation'!

I am truly privileged to be part of a Veterans group that has quite a few WWII Submarine Veterans.
