Title: Skinner
Post by: HillBill on June 04, 2016, 04:06:48 AM
Something a little different from the workshop.

A skinner for a chap in the US.

4mm 01, Reindeer antler handle, brass bolsters front and rear. Fully sharpened swedge.

Pretty much a full custom job.

Hope you like it. :)

That looks great!!  You did a fantastic job on it, all the lines come together greatly and I like the initials on the sheath too, but he'll be proud to use it!!

I like everything about it but the sharpened swedge.  I don't see the need or desirability of that on a skinner.  Still, it's a bespoke piece, and your customer knows his own mind.   :)

Thanks guys :)

Why not? :) Helps stop fingers slipping forward onto that swedge.
