Thanks!

The first two are really cool looking. Do you use a distal taper in the blade geometry? One of my favorites here is a thin bladed santoku with no taper at all, but I have another fairly old 12 inch chef knife with at least 1/4 inch spine at the bolster. When you hear the first Bowie knife was just a "butcher knife" that one would make you a believer; it feels more like a short sword in hand.

Neat stuff Chad. More?

YES!  :hail:   Very nice......a good kitchen knife is a joy to use and a poor one is a giant PITA!   Those all look like they have a lot of potential.

I'm a sucker for a good kitchen blade too. Those look great. A good slicer is a pleasure to use and yours look like they could slice good.

Some fine looking knives!  I'm especially drawn to the first two.  What are the specs on them?

Thank you guys! The blades on the top two are 8"long 2"wide. AEB-L steel. Handles are curly koa and maple burl. The one with the copper flared tubes also is 8 long and 2 wide, D2 steel. cocobolo handle. Bottom is 10"x2" cpm154 and plain Jane micarta. None have a distal taper.

Thickness? I think it would be hard to find a knife with that much rocker, well, I guess there might be a HB camp knife (which the 2 remind me of) Anyway, I've never tried one like that- looks are sweet.

Those all look great but I think maybe either of the first two just because they're a little different.  Great looking knives!
