Title: pictures of homemade fishing lures
Post by: Plumber on May 26, 2020, 10:28:26 AM
Here are a few fishing lures I made. A Suick-like Muski lure, and some spoons, made from copper pipe.

Not sure where to post this.

I have never caught a muskie....probably never will.   Nice job on the homemade lures....it must give a good deal of satisfaction when you catch fish with fish-foolers you made with your own hands! :hail:

Great job on those lures Plumber.  I really like the hammered spoons you made.  Reminds me a bit of those 5 of Diamonds we used one year up in Canada to catch a canoe load of fish.

I have never caught a Muskie either but I blame it on where I fish.

One day in Canada, fishing for Northern Pike, I decided to catch one on a homemade spoon. This is what I caught.

We were catching these 39" Northerns, but couldn't get a 40+.

This one bit me, because I had my glove on the wrong hand. :(

This is the biggest Muskie I have gotten in the boat. It was only 42", but it died, so I had it mounted.
