Looove your work. Would love to make my own stacked leather knife. Do you know of a kit similar to the above knife that a newb could acquire? I'd try doing from scratch but have no way of making the pommel/screw thing-a-ma-bobber...

I don't know of any kits to make this style. I guess you could press it all together and peen the tang as it comes through the cap?

Moose antler kind of reminds me of ivory. Damascus is USA made 416 layer. Stainless steel guard and spacers

Wow. I think you're ready for Forged in Fire. Too bad Photobucket ruined your earlier pics. Glad you had a link to FB.

Thanks, I got a few emails from them months ago. I'm not into drama so I really don't want to do the show. Heck, I'd rather do a show where someone would show me how to do things. I've got lots to learn.

CPM154 stainless steel hardened and Cryo'd to 60HRC. Stacked leather with brass guard and end cap. 10 3/8 OAL with a 5 inch blade. I like the way this blade is shaped. Wish I could get lucky and make another lol

Beautiful knife and you're right, that blade shape is really nice.  Thanks......

Wow some great new additions since the last time I popped in here! Beautiful work! I really like the angled plunge line on the one with the stacked leather handle.
