I love being out in the woods!   I like this quote from Mors Kochanski - "The more you know, the less you carry". I believe in the same creed, & think  "Knowledge & honed skills" are the best things to carry with ya when you're out in the wilds. They're the ultimate "ultralight" gear! ;)

Always happy to share if someone can find it worth looking at... & hope it is good info! Lofty is pretty good at his stuff, so I didn't figure I would go wrong in posting his doings.
 ;)

I figure he is in his 70's or so now, so this old one ( this film/video) must have been when he was in his  40's.
( I don't know, but I don't think he is "resting on the other side" quite yet..??)

Kinda cool to see & most everything he talks about is the same.. If the info hasn't changed, it must be good info, eh?
 ;)

Thanks again! I am always glad to share what I find when others can find it useful.
 :)

I watched part of this again. I missed (or forgot) about the pyramid at the end. Good stuff.

It also led me to this Lofty vid...

I've read Loftys book but haven't seen many videos on him. That has got to be the best video of him I've ever seen!
