Matt, uploading attachments is a feature I hope to implement in the future. Storing files like images an .pdf files eats up a lot of space so I have it disabled right now. Most likely after the first of the year I will enable file uploads for supporting memberships, which will also be available in 2013. :)

PW: I figured out through playing with this to do this like you did in the quote.  Is there an easy one button step to make it work?

I wish there was, but it's a limitation o fthe software. It will generate link tags and then it's up to us to put in the text and link ma ually and add the "=".

Hey Ron,

Do you know what the file size limit will be when attachments are enabled? Thanks.
Robert

Not sure yet. It will likely be a trial and error process. Text documents usually do not take up too much space. Images take up a LOT of space, but picture hosting sites like photobucket are a better option for posting pictures anyway. I want the file size to be large enough for us to host useful documents (providing they are not copyrighted material) and things of that nature. But I also want to limit the size so that we don't max out our server space. We are on a shared server through our current hosting service. Once we reach a certain threshold (which I need to inquire about), they will no longer host us. At that time, we'll need to move to a dedicated server (which will be considerably more expensive).

Limiting the files size will help to stave off that inevitable move. However, once we move there will be plenty of room for larger attachments.
