Nice sound to that bunch.  Good driving music I think.  Thanks Sarge

We ate at the local Moose Lodge tonight and there were three old geezers, two on guitars and one on an electric piano who were simply outstanding.  Just traditional western music but well done and with a singer who had, to me, a remarkable voice.

I like the sound too> but such things can be manufactured artificially
artificial adoption of traditions, ironic clothing... run of the mill hipsters really. What else can be done at this point? Enjoy.

Sarge,  I just discovered those guys too.  I've learned the guitar chords but still struggle with the words. I play it just about everyday.

Sounds like good times, Stan. I like music but I'm not musical at all.

I like that alright, Unknown. Listened to a couple more on youtube.

That's cool! I'm not sure what all they are saying either.

I've been listening to some new-to-me music, something besides thrash metal and Led Zeppelin and Willie Nelson. I found those guys, then Devil Makes Three, Freakwater, The Legendary Shack Shakers....

I am not musical either Sarge.  I often say "I cannot carry a tune in a bucket".  Keeps me from singing in the choir at church which is good.

This time of year, this one gets in the rotation on the local country station. (Veteran's Day) :-\  Usually I switch to Pandora, so I can skip if I need to.

Had not heard that one for a time, wonderful song and dredges up memories of my best friend who didn't come home from that war.
