I got a Kindle Fire last year and since getting it I hardly ever listen to the radio anymore.  I've loaded it with audio books and let it read to me on my way to and from work, and even while I fish sometimes.  Currently listening to "The Number of the Beast" by Heinlein.  "The Cat who walks through Walls" will be next for the third time.
I'll be a story in your head, but that's OK we're all stories in the end.  Just make it a good one!

I really like listening to the new song by "big little town"  < not sure I have the big/little in order.   But anyway its called " Pontoon"...     Have you guys heard it yet?

On particularly rough days when I'm sure I can't possibly endure, I like to remind myself that my track record for getting through bad days so far is 100% and that's pretty good.

I tend to forget how loud this surround system can get.     And that the hunters out there can hear my music.    Altho they said it was rather fun to hear it while sitting out there freezing... hah.    :-[

I figure if I turn it up loud enough.. the dust will bounce off the surfaces and all I have to do is vaccuum. :)

hell yeah, I love rodrigo y gabriella. they're incredible and they cover metallica! i listen to a good amount of old flamenco and classical guitar stuff, they're at the top of their game

twin: got your back on all that, especially metal church, I've been on a major thrash kick lately...well since I was like 9 actually haha.  I just can't get down with the nu-metal, the yardling (singing like eddie vedder) just drives me up the wall. When I want that chugging brutality I go to good old school death metal and grind.

Has something changed for posting videos?  I've tried cutting and pasting from the address bar and into the (youtube) things, I've also tried the "copy video url"  and "copy embed html" and putting them between the youtube things nothing is working, I keep getting invalid youtube link

Wounded thumb, I figured out your youtube issues. the URL prefix in the link you used was "https". That's a secure server access. by removing the "s" from the prefix I was able to place the URL between youtube tags and the video works.

If you are accessing youtube "securely" with your browser, you will need to remove the "s" from the prefix to get it to work with the youtube tags here.

Anyhow I edited your post to fix the video, hope that's ok. :)

I am listening, or rather just finished listening, to the sound of the wind rattling the few leaves left dried and brittle on the trees around my deer stand.  A soft wind, that whispers now and then, as it moves memories from my mind of other days and other hunts.  I must be in a reflective mood this morning.
A man who carries a cat by the tail learns  something he can learn in no other way.

Classic rock
80s Punk
CBC
Prog Rock
New Wave
Right now I'm just listening to my fridge run. It's a relaxing sound.

Nashville is dead. Long live the old school. The record execs did the same thing to country and hip hop. there's water in the whiskey boys, water in the whiskey.
