My Langsax as a cutter
« on: March 04, 2016, 08:02:02 AM »
Some of y'all have seen my 22 inch Langsax.  Hundreds of layers of pattern welded steel.  Kevin Colwell made it for me some years back.  It has not gotten a lot of use, but when watching some videos the other day, I thought I'd try it out.
Half gallon milk bottles and two liter soda bottles.  Filled with water, and then cut.  The Langsax goes through them like a knife through butter.  I was impressed.

Now that is a beautiful blade Sam! Not gonna lie I got a little chuckle out of the first line of your post. Especially after meeting some of you guys in person!

Pictures can't due justice to that blade.

No, they cant. That thing is bad ass. Love the steel on that one!
