Anyone have any idea what Wilderbeast has been up to,  looks like he hasn't posted in over four months ?

Hadn't heard from either.  Glad Red and Saint Nick popped in to say they were still kickin'.

Woodswoman & I are friends on FB & she seems to be doing fine. She just sent me some "funnies" earlier this week.

I PM'd WB a couple of weeks back, & like UTC says, he is fine also, just busy.

There are a lot of others who I have not seen around for some time. KK, Werewolfwon, just to name a couple. I am sure that people are just doing stuff & only come in to read without signing in. I do that on occasion myself. People just doing people things, I guess. I miss them too, but life goes on.

I love being out in the woods!   I like this quote from Mors Kochanski - "The more you know, the less you carry". I believe in the same creed, & think  "Knowledge & honed skills" are the best things to carry with ya when you're out in the wilds. They're the ultimate "ultralight" gear! ;)

Kanukkaru hasn't been on since February of this year.

Thought about calling Daywalker on and off.  Hope he's doing well.

Classic Camp Stoves has a unique method of retaining wandering members.  Anytime an active member mentions them with a hashtag, an email is sent to the last address they had on file and tells them they are missed.  I have seen several delinquent members return because someone cared enough to think about them and mention it on the forum.
I guess he'd rather be in Colorado.

*BUMP*

Anyone have any word on John Van Gilder?  He hasn't been on since Feb 16th, and all his Imgur photos are missing.
Living alone on top of that mountain, I've tried to give him a holler every week or so, but I'm been remiss.

Anyone know if he's ridden his horse off into the sunset?

Actually, no clue there. He was talking about an upcoming Feb shooting contest, the movies, and pistol safeties.  I didn't see any "tiff" of any sort.

The last I heard from him was April 1st. He sounded fine, and was talking about the snow going and the critters coming out.
We'll see if he answers my latest email.

He's fine.  Answered a couple of my emails. He's just gone back to being a Mountain Man, on his mountain with his horses, and neighborhood bear, elk, deer and cougars.

Crash is fine.  Saw him last week. He posts everyday somewhere.

I sure do miss the eastern woodlands... A lot of you fine folks are there, and some good campouts were spent with this group
