What's the best folding shovel?

Hey folks, I'm going to get a folding shovel and wanted to know which one holds up well.  I'm looking to avoid the junk ones so let me know which one is good.

USGI surplus E-tool.
Like most surplus gear, heavy but tough.

  Which size are ya thinking about. Small ones for small tasks like diggin a "cat" hole for taking a crap, or maybe a dakota fire hole? Or, larger digging projects like a foxhole, or a ditch around a tent?


  I have 3 folding shovels. A little one for just small stuff,



 a larger one with a collapsible handle & also has a pick for small & medium projects,





 & a folding handle shovel (USGI Entrenching tool& cover) for small to larger digging projects.



  I don't plan on buying any others,  and I can't think of any other folding shovels that are what I would get to replace them, other than like kind, if I would ever need to replace one... so the ones I have are what I consider the "good" ones.

I use a WWII folding shovel, two of them in fact, and they work just fine for most things in camp.

Thanks guys.  Yeah this is more of a keep in the truck thing and maybe take on certain trips.  They USGI E-tool seems like it would fit the bill nicely!

I have an e-tool as well. Only thing I don't like about it is when I have to dig with it. It does work though.

I like my german e-tool with forged folding spike on the back.
it's got a square push button  lock that works well in all 3 positions.
quicker and easier to use than the US screw style locks -- but it's also heavier.

of course, if folding is a want and not a requirement, the $6 miniature D-handle shovels at your local hardware/lumber store are pretty decent, too
the Cold Steel special Forces shovel is another good option under $20.
