Swift Creek Reservoir & Silver Queen
« on: November 06, 2016, 04:45:10 PM »
We visited with the grandkids this weekend. I was able to fit in some time on the silver queen too.

Brandon and I took a trip out on to the Swift Creek Reservoir. A beautiful day and a very nice body of water.

Found some folks who must love the water too.

We explored the coves.

Saw some sign.

Pissed off a few heron.

Sure enjoyed being out and visiting with my old friend.

Nice photos.  Looks like a really nice area to canoe in.

We went up 4 or 5 fingers that he had not been by himself. We were looking for a pair of eagles that he has seen. We didn't see the eagles but the herons and ducks made up for it. Saw some other folks out in the trees. I really enjoyed the sound of the water against the queen.
