Yet another well done rendition of my favorite all-in-one knife design.....I never tire of looking at and USING them!    How many of them have you made since the inception of the 'Colclesser Project,' Mike?  It's been a long road.....I hope you kept track. ???

I haven't popped in here in a while. I am amazed at how much progress has been made from the beginning and how much and new info has been unearthed. These knives look fantastic!

Hey guys, I'm relatively new on your forum but I have to admit, I love these Kephart knives made by Sarge. I have two Kephart inspired knives, but neither are as nice and authentic as these.

Latest Kephart

I'm working on the last few blades from the first batch of a dozen. About to start profiling the next batch.

Mike, I was just wondering if you've gotten any call for any of the shorter of the two blade lengths that the Colclesser Brothers offered in that old magazine ad?   It haunts me. ???

Wolfy, I cut out a blank with a 4" blade/4.25" handle just the other day. I haven't done any other work on it yet, though. I'll post some pics when I get going on it.

So.....did you finish the 'Cub Scout' model Kephart yet?  If you have, I'd love seeing some pictures!

Thank you, Timbo!

Wolfy and Stan, I cut out two "Cub Scout" models. They are in a batch at heat treat right now. I sent 45 blanks...  :coffee:

I'll post some pics when I get going on them.

Hey guys, I was fortunate enough to purchase one of these beautiful Kephart knives off of Mike. The man truly is an artisan. I couldn't be happier with a knife purchase.

Yessir Uncle Timbo, those Kepharts Mike crafts are really something.  I have used mine a lot the last few months and processed one deer last fall and used it on a Turkey last week.  It is a great knife made better because you know who designed it and wrote about it and the artist who made it.

I have one other knife Mike made and it is also a dandy.

Uncle Timbo, I see that your sheath closely resembles the replacement that Horace made for himself after the Colclesser Company-supplied sheath either failed or he tired of using both hands to sheathe or unsheathe his newly designed all around woods tool.....looks handy.  I like it!

Mike, just curious.....whateve r happened to all those experimental prototypes that you were making from the sawblade steel?

Thank you, fellas!

Wolfy, I still have the first one in 5160 and the first sawblade prototype. I let the others get away from me, one by one, but they all went to good homes.

Godbless Timbo! I clicked on your pic and thanks to the adverts... I may be making some asian babies soon.  Mike: they got away? I know I never deserved any sort of "old sawblade special offer" are you and wolfy winking? ;) gotcha. I reckon the ole sawblade is not to bad
...don't go thinking you know me.
