Courier du Bois

Been working on this blade. It's from a old buzzsaw blade. I was able to anneal it, harden, and temper the blade. Any rate I found a great piece of American walnut. Here it is sanded out and almost ready for oil. Just a gorgeous piece of wood.

Nice one Gizamo.  Great job with the flow of the handle into the shape of the blade. 

I believe that Pierre Gaultier de Varennes, sieur de La Verendrye would be proud of that knife.

Building a Tea House for one of my clients. Most elaborate little building I've built in my career. Well over a million dollar project. Got to have it done by the beginning of August.

I see.  This client evidently doesn't know you have other important things to do like making an earthen oven, making beautiful knives, communicating with friends on line.  Of course, a million dollar project will fixate the mind quite effectively.
