Okay, trying the Win10 "Flickr App" for uploading and sharing pictures on Flickr:

The Windows App doesn't let you organize your pix. You must do that on the Flickr site. But the link codes generated by the App are clean. The codes generated by Flickr carry a lot of extraneous stuff that must be manually edited in a post. A real PITA.  But for quick uploads from a camera or HD and sharing, the Win app is seamless.

Flickr has complex organizational tools, and lot of editing capability. Creating Albums, Collections (of photos/albums) is pretty simple, allowing drag-n-drop moving of photos and albums into collections, as well as sorting features.

A free account is 1 Gb storage.The space used is dependent upon the size of the photos uploaded. The system also automatically flags your photos with copyright protection.

Ok, it looks like it works but you have to strip a lot of crap off the URL to just get the stuff between the IMG tags.

I ran into the same thing, PW. If you are running Windows (8, 8.1 or 10) try using the Flickr App from the Windows Store. Works the dream, and doesn't pick up all that extra code. The only down side is you need to get into your Flickr account to move stuff around into albums or collections.

Are any of you guys with iPads successfully using Flickr to copy & paste photos here?  I have tried several different ways, but so far without success.  I have copied & pasted the URL between the image tags and I tried just copying & pasting the URL, but get nothing but the link to show up......NO PICTURE.    I am becoming sorely vexed!
